Hedwig and the Angry Inch
One of the most surprising, compelling, bizarre, hilarious and sincere rock musicals ever made, Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a true original. Chronicling the troubled life of a German transgender rock singer, Hedwig transcends camp and delves into real-life identity struggles we can all relate to. Balagan Theatre—responsible for the awesome staging of Spring Awakening last year—is partnering with the Moore Theatre for this production, which features local drag queen Jerick Hoffer (see our interview with him) in the lead role.
