Neiman’s is trying to compete for your fashion attention on Saturday, September 28 with their Cusp Event from 2 to 6 p.m. (luckily you can do this and still make the Vogue show at The Bellevue Collection if you’re tenacious). Cusp is Neiman’s contemporary and emerging designer section (Vince, Rag & Bone, Alexander Wang, Robert Rodriguez) and this year’s ad campaign is focused on the edgy women of rock and roll, namely Natalie Bergman of Wild Belle, ZZ Ward and Noelle Scaggs of Fitz and the Tantrums. Lambs Ear in Fremont is welcoming stylist Ciara Ramos and her new project, DA:DA colección, a pop up shop filled with “wearable vintage that’s interesting looking rather than ‘retro’ looking,” she explains. “I'm doing all the styling and photography myself—the stark, sometimes off-kilter Juergen Teller-esque vibe is very intentional… wanted to try something that was completely my vision thru and thru.”
