Jill Wenger, the owner of men's, women's and home accessories boutique Totokaelo on Capitol Hill, gave some serious Seattle shout-outs in a recent interview with the New York Times' T Magazine. In it, she praises Spinasse and Bar Sajor as two of her favorite nosh spots as well as Il Corvo for lunch and Mr. Gyros on Phinney Ridge for great cheap eats. Read more »

As Seattle Magazine's editor at large, I get to do the dirty jobs sometimes. Like this week, I'm up in the Canadian Rockies. We came up from Seattle to Vancouver then on to Banff via a Canadian sightseeing train called the Rocky Mountaineer: think domes, cars and gourmet food while cruising on rails through the wilderness. It was a smooth and splendid ride. I'm also spending time in Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise because, well, someone has to do it. Read more »

Not only is he moving his quaint little Capitol Hill restaurant Lark to bigger digs, he’s launching two new projects — all under the same roof.
