Remember the Iron Vintner Challenge, which ran for five years at Willows Lodge in Woodinville? Well, this isn’t it. But this year’s new Experience Woodinville on June 28 is a reimagined food and wine experience that borrows inspiration from its Willows Lodge predecessor. Here’s everything you need to know.

1. There will be 20 wineries, including DeLille Cellars, W.T. Vintners, Sparkman Cellars, Gorman Winery and Avennia

2. Don’t do wine? There will be five breweries and distilleries to help you get your buzz on: Elemental Hard Cider, Pacific Distillery, Redhook Brewery, Sumerian Brewing Company, and Woodinville Whiskey.

3. Only go to these shin digs for the food? Restaurants present will include Barking Frog, Novelty Hill at Januik, Purple Cafe and Wine Bar, and Sugarfinch Cookie Company.

4. As a tribute to the Iron Vintner Challenge, Experience Woodinville will feature “quick fire” cooking challenges, hosted by Chef Bobby Moore, in which local winemakers and their assigned chef partners duke it out in front of a panel of celebrity and foodie judges.

5. Because tasting wine and eating appetizers can be so stressful, The Spa at Willows Lodge will be on hand providing mini-treatments in the Burke Room.

6. It takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. on June 28 and tickets are $75, which gets you 10 tastes of wine plus food at each restaurant station. Click here for tickets.

7. A portion of the ticket sales and the proceeds of a Silent Auction during the event will go to Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center.
