What’s one piece of advice that you wish patients would follow?
Go to your primary physician for annual examinations. Many malignant tumors are curable when diagnosed early.

With regard to your specialty, what are you most passionate about?

Making correct diagnoses [and] clearly communicating pathologic findings to clinical colleagues.

For a patient, what’s the most challenging aspect of being diagnosed with cervical or ovarian cancer?
Going through invasive procedures and other treatment methods that can significantly affect quality of life.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of your specialty?
