For 40 years, the Center for Wooden Boats (CWB) has been a gathering spot for boat enthusiasts and wannabe sailors—and starting June 9, it will also become a place to meet old friends and new for drinks.

During CWB’s new happy hours, every second Thursday of the summer months, you can take in scenic views of seaplanes and sailboats—as you sip cocktails on the docks. Tickets ($15) include two drinks while food and music are free to enjoy from 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m. There will also be raffles to win boating excursions, plus the chance to chat with CWB members and volunteers about how to get out on the water (the booze will have to stay on dry land!).

You might just decide to cruise back to CWB for one of its sailing programs or woodworking classes—and then back to happy hour the next month.
