1/22 • Calling all NPR geeks! Garrison Keillor, beloved host of Prairie Home Companion, is bringing his humor and candor to Seattle for one night only. The liberal-leaning orator, who has 30 years of public radio under his belt, is also a prolific author. His latest novel, Liberty: A Lake Wobegon Novel (2008), follows Clint Bunsen of Keillor’s mythic Lake Wobegon series as he fights his 60s hormones and the urge to lust after the much younger Angelica Phlame—who commanded the small town’s attention by portraying the Statue of Liberty in last year’s parade. 8 p.m. Prices vary.
