Why Seattle? I came to Seattle in ’92. I stayed because I loved the work I was doing (One Reel, Empty Space Theatre, STG, Crosscut) and how it affected and helped shape the cultural climate here. The people I met along the way have become family to me.
Best quality: It’s a toss-up between my raging earnestness and irrepressible smart-assery.
People might be most surprised to learn: I’ve never seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High or The Karate Kid, despite being Asian and from California.
Favorite guilty pleasure: ’80s rock
Would spend a million dollars on: Starting a foundation to support multimedia arts projects in unexpected places. The rest would go toward shoes.
Favorite place for a first date? Art walk. Any of them.
