Gourmondo
Panini, salmon entrées and vegan wheatberry salad, with nothing costing more than $15, are some of the hallmarks of this longtime boxed-lunch caterer. Orders must be placed by 5:30 p.m. the previous business day; avoid the $7 surcharge by ordering at least three lunches, and opt to have them delivered for free between 11 a.m. and noon (delivery outside that window is $15). And look for a new Gourmondo Elliott Café at 645 Elliott Avenue W (near the F5 headquarters), which opened in December. 206.587.0190; gourmondocatering.com

Gretchen’s Shoebox
One of Seattle’s busiest caterers offers a huge array of salads, sandwiches and wraps (around $12–$14) for free delivery within a broad delivery zone (Redmond, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Bellevue and Kent included). Cakes, muffins, gluten-free options, and bagel and sandwich platters are also available. Order before midnight for next-day delivery, or call before 9 a.m. for same-day options. 425.455.3948; gretchensshoebox.com

Le Fournil
With 48 hours’ notice, you can opt for the adorable red box for lunch. Choose quiche, salad or a sandwich on a fresh French baguette along with a choice of dessert (apple tart, éclair, mille-feuille and much more) and a Perrier (or other beverage) for $10.49. 206.328.6523; le-fournil.com

Mama’s Brown Bags
This Interlake breakfast and lunch caterer does sandwich and salad brown-bag lunches (which come with an apple, chips, water, a cookie and a Hershey’s Kiss for around $12), fruit and sandwich platters, and pasta bowls, and even offers gluten-free items. Minimum of five orders (or $60) by 4:30 p.m. for next-day downtown delivery (locations farther afield require a 10-order minimum). 206.633.2247; mamasbrownbags.com

Sugee’s Box Lunch Co.
Big, satisfying sandwiches (BLT, pastrami, meatloaf, egg salad; each $11.22) on your choice of bread are the specialty at this Bellevue boxed-lunch company, although pot pie and quiche are also offered. Every meal comes with Tim’s Cascade chips and a chocolate chip cookie. Order your lunches at least 2 hours in advance for free delivery the same day, one to three lunch minimum depending on location. 425.641.9484; sugeesboxlunch.com
