Barneys Remodel and Party

Meet the guy behind this new iconic jewelry piece, and Simon Doonan in one fell swoop

Even though they moved into their Pacific Place digs just a few years ago (from their first location at City Centre), the Seattle Barneys has just undergone a refresh. A Barney's spokesperson tells me that they’ve expanded the leather goods section by 100 percent and combined men’s and women’s ready-to-wear on the second floor so members of both genders can shop together. The store, from fixtures to fitting rooms, has been revamped into a brighter, more cohesive shopping experience.

Simon Doonan, Barneys creative ambassador-at-large and fashion director, Tomoko Ogura, will be in town on July 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. for a big time party benefitting the Parkinson’s Project. Hoorsenbuhs (a jewelry line I am OBSESSED with) brand ambassador and designer Kether Parker will also be in-store to show off his amazing and best-selling line of rings and bracelets and there will be ample opportunities to win jewelry, shoes, trips and men’s suiting.

The event is free, but you must RSVP (206.508.1277 or parkinsonsproject@barneys.com). Enjoy complimentary valet parking and nibbles from The Kingfish Café.
