Canlis Cocktail Symposium

I've long been a fan of Canlis barman James MacWilliams' cocktails--sipping a Walt Wagner drink  in the lounge while listening to the legendary piano player do his rendition of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" is a most pleasant way to while away the evening. This Thursday, May 13th at 8pm, join MacWilliams for a chance to taste some of his creations, including cocktails made with rare spirits from the Canlis back bar.

Some of the cocktail luminaries that will be present that evening include Andrew Borher (Mistral Kitchen), David Nelson (Spur Gastropub), Duncan Chase (Taste at SAM), and Chris Young, who is currently working on a much-anticipated molecular gastronomy cookbook with Dr. Nathan Myhrvold, rumored to be released later this year.


* Tickets for the cocktail party are $35 per person plus tax. Fee includes some small bites and several signature drinks. There will be a cash bar for additional cocktails and the opportunity to preview some of James MacWilliams’s drinks incorporating rare spirits from the Canlis backlist.
