Four Dog-Friendly Spots to Visit this Summer
Hankering to spend time outdoors this summer? Chances are your four-pawed friends could use a nice stretch, too. We’ve compiled a list of furry-friendly establishments that are willing to keep you smiling and Fido's tail a-waggin’.
Beginning this month, Kirkland’s elegant Woodmark Hotel launches Yappier Hour hosted by the resort's newest "guest experience manager," Woody, an adorable labradoodle . Woodmark's Beach Café will be serving items from its happy hour menu; complimentary dog biscuits will be served along with a copy of CityDog Magazine. (Every Wednesday 5 p.m.-7 p.m.; 1200 Carillon Point, Kirkland; 425.822.3700; thewoodmark.com)
Pike Place Market's The Pink Door (1919 Post Alley; 206.443.3241; thepinkdoor.net) gives pets the chance to bask in the sun at the feet of their owners on the patio. The same goes for family-friendly Bing’s in Madison Park (4200 East Madison St.; 206.323.8623; bingsbarandgrill.com ). For a more casual dining atmosphere, stop by Fremont's popular dog-friendly eastablishment, Norm’s Eatery & Ale House (460 N 36th St.; 206.792.5572), where pets scurry beneath tables both indoors and outdoors--just be sure to keep an eye on your fries.
