Hot for Solar Power

If you've ever wondered whether we get enough sunlight here in the soggy Pacific Northwest to make solar power feasible for our homes, check out the demonstration tonight (October 26) by A&R Solar's Reeves Clippard at the Meadowbrook Community Center in Wedgwood. The free event, sponsored by Seattle Parks & Recreation, will take place from 6 - 7:30 pm at the Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave NE, Seattle 98125.

A&R Solar has installed dozens of photovoltaic arrays and solar hot water heaters around Seattle, which gets 30% more sun than Germany, the world leader in solar power. Clippard will show how any of us can start deriving power from the sun and reducing our carbon footprints in the process without giving up the benefits of being connected to the traditional grid. Check out the demonstration tonight -- it may give you a whole new outlook on life!
