Rover's Gourmet magazine Menu
Word has it that after the demise of Gourmet magazine last year, their Gourmet Today cookbook sales spiked. And for good reason--the national mag has been leaving foodies satisfied since 1941. Want a chance to mourn/celebrate? Seattle's famed Chef in the Hat, Thierry Rautureau of Rover's (the mag dubbed them "One of America's Top Tables" by the way) will dedicate a 5-course bistro menu to Gourmet recipes (now through February 13). The $55 menu will include dishes such as Dungeness Crab Salad with Cabbage, Carrot and Parsnip Chowder and Broiled Squab. A wine pairing for the menu will be $40.
