Seatown Snack Bar
That sneaky Tom Douglas. He went and opened Seatown Snack Bar, his new raw bar/seafood restaurant and awesome-sounding takeout shop last week and forgot to tell us all about it. Part takeout counter--and this is Tom D takeout, so think Dahlia cookies, daily rotisserie meats and freshly baked pot pies--and part raw bar, with lots of smoked fish and local fish featured, along with seasonal veggies (some harvested from Tom and wife Jackie's farm in Prosser). We’re most excited for the ancho-spiced goat, the Monday special ($16) and the Friday special, peri peri-rubbed lamb ($16), as well as the tomato sandwich with feta and mint ($8). Open daily, 8 a.m.- 11 p.m. 2010 Western Ave. tomdouglas.com/index.php/restaurants/seatown
