Our top to-do's for the week

Must Get a Whiff
Willy Wonka in Smell-O-Vision
Friday - Sunday (12/10 - 12/12)
See the classic 1971 film the way it was meant to be experienced: in Smell-O-Vision. Courtesy of kooky film-enhancement team The Action Pack, the treats on screen leap to life in the form of goodie bags filled with aromatic, edible sweets, while an audience script encourages live sing-alongs and shout-outs (à la The Rocky Horror Picture Show). Golden ticket not required. Times vary. $12–$14. SIFF Cinema, 321 Mercer St.; 206.324.9996; siff.net

Must Drink-up
Winter Beer Festival
Friday & Saturday (12/10 - 12/11) Sip an impressive line-up of beers from 35 Washington craft breweries, ranging from dark rich stouts and I.P.A.'s to new winter seasonal releases and classic vintage beers. Times vary. $23-25. Admission includes a tasting cup and six beer tastings of five ounces each. 21 and up event. Hale's Palladium, 4301 Leary Way NW. washingtonbeer.com/festival_winter.htm

Must See
Holiday Glee
Through 12/20 • This year, the Seattle Men’s Chorus is channeling Glee for its popular show, adding song and dance numbers inspired by the TV series to the group’s broad range of styles (including gospel, show tunes and new a cappella arrangements of caroling classics). Broadway baby Kelli O’Hara will perform as a special guest at the first two performances. Times and prices vary. Benaroya Hall, 200 University St.; 206.388.1400; flyinghouse.org.

Must Taste
Meatless Mondays at Oddfellows and Smith
Monday (12/13) • Ditch those carnivorous cravings this Monday and join the growing list of chefs, fooedies and restaurants who are taking a weekly day off from meat. Linda Derschang, local cultural curator and owner of a handful of iconic bars is serving up vegetarian-only specials at two of her more food-focused Capitol Hill locations, Oddfellows and Smith. With her nod to meat-free dining, Derschang joins throngs of Seattle foodies who've jumped on the Meatless Monday bandwagon, part of a national initiative started by the Johns Hopkins Bloomber School of Public Heath. Vegavores, unite!
