I don’t know about you, but I love bags. My mom just commented the other day on how many purses, handbags and totes I have—and this is coming from the queen clotheshorse of all time. Nonetheless, it’s true, I have a ton of them, and while they’re not expensive or designer, they’re all distinctive in some way, which is what I look for specifically in my accessories, from bags to jewelry.
Ok, so maybe it’s not the right time of year to be talking cashmere, but I’m so in love with this new-to-me line that I wanted to share it ASAP. Several local restaurants have partnered with broVo Spirits to serve up classic cocktails all during May in honor of National Brain Tumor Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds for each cocktail ordered goes to the Kathi Goertzen Foundation, the organization created to help raise research funds for brain cancer cures and patient support.

Seattle’s beloved indie-folk/chamber-pop/just-plain-endearing band Hey Marseilles released its much-anticipated second album, Lines We Trace, in March. Now the band is releasing the official video for one of the new songs, “Heart Beats.” We’re especially excited about this video because it was written and directed by our own staff photographer, Hayley Young.
Scout Vintage Rentals’ Jenn Elliott Blake has announced her intention of turning her vintage collection of vintage accessories, furniture, linens, fabric and pillows into an online marketplace of rustic chicness.
