Well hello, Wednesday! We received word this morning that the fantastic designer Brian Paquette of Brian Paquette Interiors is in the process of securing a space in Pioneer Square for a brand-new home shop. Swoon.
Paquette says the airy, simple and clean store (official name to come) will hopefully be located near Matt Dillon’s London Plane and will hopefully open in mid-fall to coincide with the launch of his wallpaper collection with the New York-based textile and wallcovering showroom Studio Four. What to expect of his home decor haven?
“A selection of furniture, lighting, home goods, art, accessories, table top, linens, rugs from our favorite designers, all  organic and for the most part American-made and local. Plus, designers such as Lawson-Fenning, Nickey Kehoe, Apparatus, Noir, Fort Standard, Coyuchi, Victoria Morris, Ashley Helvey, Iacoli and McAllister, Grain, Helen Levi, Katy Krantz, Ben Medansky, Brahms Mount, Cody Hoyt, Zak and Fox, L’aviva Home, LuRu Home, Egg Collective and more. We hope to have rotating art shows.”
He also noted that the back quarter of the store will be an office and design area that will house his library and will be held for client meetings.

Stay tuned for more details as we get them. (And prep the pocketbook!)
