In August, the Space Needle announced its Top This contest, an open call for submissions of original designs that will temporarily decorate the top of the Space Needlea celebration to culminate many celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Space Needle’s existence and the 1962 World’s Fair.

Six designs have been selected as finalists; your vote determines the victor. Candidates include a line of evergreen trees, a Native American homage, an umbrella, and a bubbly graphic by Henry, a mural artist whose work will be immediately familiar to most Ballard or Greenwood residents.

Cast your votes (one per day) by October 20. The winning design will enjoy its glorious place on the top of the Space Needle for six months.
