Several local restaurants have partnered with broVo Spirits to serve up classic cocktails all during May in honor of National Brain Tumor Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds for each cocktail ordered goes to the Kathi Goertzen Foundation, the organization created to help raise research funds for brain cancer cures and patient support. Goertzen, a longstanding Seattle media legend, lost her battle with brain tumors last August.

Tini Bigs’ owner Keith Robbins created this recipe for the month-long fundraising promotion in honor of Goertzen, his childhood friend:

Hello, I Love You

1 oz broVo rose geranium
1 oz Blanco tequila
1/2 oz Pimm’s Campari
1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz Simple syrup
Lemon peel rose garnish

What’s more, for every bottle of broVo Rose Geranium Liqueur sold, broVo will donate one dollar to the foundation.
