Designer Kristie Metcalf Heads to Vancouver Fashion Week

Can't get more on-trend than a jumpsuit

Every year, a great designer heads up to Vancouver for that city’s fashion week (VFW). Last year it was Carole McClellan and this year, it’s Kristie Metcalf, who, you might recall, shot to prominence with her appearance on Bravo’s Styled to Rock, Rihanna’s fashion reality show.

Metcalf, whose line is called Calotype, got in touch recently to share the news of her VFW show—her first ever show outside of Seattle, not counting the runway on TV. She'll be showing a fall/winter capsule collection at VFW, which is in its twelfth year and covers seven full days of runway shows by more than 50 international designers. It’s a huge deal and a huge opportunity for exposure, with nearly 20,000 guests including buyers, industry influencers and media.
