A Great Wilderness

The Seattle Rep commissioned up-and-coming Idaho playwright Samuel Hunter to create this daring new work, developed in the Rep's New Play Program. The story surrounds a man who counsels teen boys "out of" their homosexual tendencies, and the crises of faith he experiences when one of these boys goes missing. Directed by local star Braden Abraham, this timely play stretches beyond its own details to tell a larger tale of humanity.
