Jherek Bischoff

The New Yorker hailed him a “Seattle phenom.” The New York Times called him a “pop polymath.” And now it’s time for you to come up with your own blurb for orchestral pop composer Jherek Bischoff, after seeing his performance at The Moore. His June release, Composed, which he created by recording musicians separately and then layering the parts together, sounds like a happy marriage of indie and orchestra. Having already gained the acclaim of (and collaborative partnership with) David Byrne, Bischoff is a skyrocketing local star.
