Marvin Hamlisch Tribute

Winner of multiple Academy Awards, including for Best Original Song (“The Way We Were”) and Best Original Song Score (The Sting), and recipient of many more Oscar nominations, composer Marvin Hamlisch also served as principal pops conductor for the Seattle Symphony until his death in August. The symphony is paying tribute to Hamlisch’s legacy in the hall where he once conducted, playing some of his most lauded and memorable music for stage and screen.
