Fall is synonymous with fun opportunities for some solid family time, and this weekend’s offerings are no exception.

Darigold’s Farmalicious Corn Maze is in full swing at the Thomasson Family Farm in Enumclaw, featuring 216,000 square feet of maze waiting for you to get lost in. All October long, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, the farm will be abuzz with pumpkin carving, Darigold samples, tractors, apple slingshot competitions and a barn full of corn kernels for kids to jump around in. The next two weekends (October 13-14 and 20 and 21) Darigold will be setting up sample booths with some of its most popular products and visitors will receive a goodie bag filled with seasonal, farm-fresh treats.

If you’re staying in town, head to Carnivelo, a fall festival for all ages at Alleycat Acres Urban Farm at Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Cherry St. on Saturday, from 4 to 9 p.m. Come early with the kids and enjoy music by Awesome Witch of Rad, lavender cotton candy from Spun, face painting by Glenn Tramantano, flowers by Flourish + Found, a pumpkin patch courtesy of Clean Greens Farm + Market and a photo booth. Older kids and adults will want to stay late for an al fresco showing of Night of the Living Dead 7 p.m. Little kids, not so much.
