We’ve got some buzzy news and updates to keep in mind as the weekend approaches:

Don’t forget: This Saturday and Sunday, Clementine’s in West Seattle is hosting a (pretty amazing) trunk show of Sustalux’s stellar vintage attire. From the chatter I’m hearing, I’d suggest getting there Saturday to score the best deals, because it will be busy. More info on last week’s post.

I have a giant crush on the team at Ladies & Gentlemen. Based in Ballard, the husband-wife design duo create chic and totally usable products and have branched into kitchen ware with their new 2012 offerings. Hello, new salt shaker!

All of a sudden, I have a very long list of new and/or revamped spas to check out. The Spa at Willows Lodge in Woodinville has just emerged from a recent redo and the new Yuan Spa is creating a stir in downtown Bellevue.

The latter is a glorious 8,000 square-foot Asian-inspired spa with ten treatment rooms put to good use; they offer unique hydrotherapy treatments and foot reflexology in addition to massage therapy. You’ll want to hang out a while before or after your treatment: guests have access to a hydrotherapy circuit of two bathing pools, therapeutic sauna and the eucalyptus steam room, which features an exfoliating sea salt bar. (If I’ve gotten you in the mood for a spa date–or two– never fear, yesterday, the dates for the annual National Spa Week were announced and Yuan Spa is already on board, offering $50 services during the week of April 16-22.)
