Fremont Coffee is of a too-rare breed: the old, rambling house converted into a multiroom coffeehouse with an inviting, old-fashioned wraparound sun porch. The walls are brightly painted; the furniture, study; and local art is everywhere. You’ll kill us if we call it “homey,” but how else to put it? Something about being able to carry our coffee into another room makes us feel like we’re leaving the realm of commerce and entering the realm of social interaction.
