MUST SEE
Sally Meets Stu
For one night only, Israeli choreographer Danielle Agami and her company, Ate9, are taking over Century Ballroom to present an evening-length performance. Sit back, enjoy a drink in Century’s stylish cabaret and watch the vigorous, captivating style of dance known as “Gaga” (which has been around way longer than the Lady by the same name).
8/31, 7:30pm & 9:30pm. $20 at the door/$15 students & seniors. Century Ballroom, 915 E. Pine; ate9-company.tumblr.com

MUST ROCK
Bumbershoot: Music & Arts Festival
It’s time again to join ranks with music freaks and art geeks of every age for the city’s biggest end-of-summer fete. We’re looking forward to the reunited rock of Jane’s Addiction, the ska sounds of Fishbone, and, of course, local music luminaries such as Noah Gundersen, TheeSatisfaction and Damien Jurado. But wait! There’s comedy, visual arts, food and even more music, too.
9/1-9/3, all day. Seattle Center. Tickets and schedule at bumbershoot.org

MUST GET OUT OF TOWN
High Country Log Show
Starts Saturday (9/1-9/2) — Head east to Roslyn, WA for the second annual “loggers’ jam.” In honor of the area’s timberrr-ed history (and to raise money for local scholarships), you can cheer (or join) several log-tastic events, such as the obstacle pole buck or the speed climb, a skillful scamper up an 80-foot pole. We’ve also got the scoop on the town’s Sunday market and a nearby wine bar.
9/1-9/2, noon. Free. Runje Field, Roslyn Pioneer Park; 509.674.8161; cleelumroslyn.org
