With the same owners as Bastille, it’s no wonder Poquitos’ patio (1000 E Pike St.; 206.453.4216) is decked out. But unlike its French cousin, the patio at this Capitol Hill Mexican restaurant was built fully enclosed, with large windows that roll up to let in the breeze come summertime, and keep the place snug in winter. Strings of amber lights make it feel as though you’re basking in starlight. Spots closest to the two tabletop fire pits are prime seating, roomy booths that easily fit six are nice, too, though you’ll need to arrive early or stay late to snag either; it’s often standing room only during primetime on weekends. This indoor patio distinguishes itself with one particularly astute amenity: its own bar. To Eat: Fiery chipotle prawns, outstanding ceviche, yam tacos and a “Perfect Purist Margarita,” with lime, reposado, agave and a splash of orange liqueur.
