Who can resist an elegant evening of fine dining under the stars? For just such an occasion, reserve a table in the greenhouse overlooking the canal at the Book Bindery, on the Queen Anne side of the Ship Canal (198 Nickerson St.; 206.283.2665). With just eight tables, the glassed-in room glows with candlelight, and tastefully lush plantings are arranged just so. It’s nice to arrive at dusk, to watch the sky darken to charcoal. To Eat: All the luxury ingredients are accounted for: foie gras, lobster risotto with black truffles, and the steak, referred to as the “Flavor Curve,” likely the best piece of meat you’ll eat all year.
