Branding Statement/ Bio Info:
Background Information:
This Collection for 2012 is inspired by water and tells the story of how the sun rises and sets over the sea. The collection begins with a sunny day that gets stormier, until it begins to rain. But like with all storms, the clouds eventually pass and the sun shines again.
My work is targeted towards a younger demographic: 14-25 years of age. My customer is someone who has money and likes to make a fashion statement. She is someone who is sexy, has a wild side, an eastern flair and a girly attitude. This season she was inspired by her 60s girly style.
What differentiates me as a fashion designer is my ability to work with any textile, and also my attention to fit and shape. I have made garments out of vinyls, trigger, bubble wrap and metal—that are beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. I love the shock factor and have worked as an entertainer and producer for a while. I provide a unique product to young rock stars. All my garments are made for a petite girl.
Price Point/Vendors:
Once I go through CMT contractors my price per garment should drop to $100-700 per piece, depending on the textile and complexity of the garment. I do hope to still provide couture pieces, like my handmade chainmail gown. Vendors I want to attract is Neiman Marcus-the Contemporary Division and other boutiques.
