The Triple Door was center stage on December 7 when Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard and his band Brad joined the Chris Friel Orchestra for the first annual SMooCH (Seattle Musicians for Children’s Hospital) Benefit and Auction. Other special musical guests included Pete Droge and Carrie Akre, Stag (with bass player Pete Nordstrom), and many other local talents. The musicians donated their performances for the event, which raised over $175,000— more than double their goal—for Seattle Children’s uncompensated care fund.
