Gary Manuel salons have been beautifying the people of Seattle since 1979 and on May 30, you’re invited to check out their newest Studio concept space, in South Lake Union, on Thursday, May 30 at 6 p.m. for their grand opening and Earth Month celebration.

Enjoy food from Tom Douglas, get your pic snapped by GM’s in-house U-Snap set-up and, since this location is super eco-responsible, be there when the team presents the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance with a check for their organization that works to protect our waterways.

Graham Baba Architects designed this super-sleek space, with floor to ceiling windows, communal worktables with ergonomic hair dryers, high efficiency lighting and plumbing, and true to its locale, USB ports and Wifi throughout.

The Aveda line is highlighted throughout the salon, including their men’s line, which I unexpectedly love, their color line and, of course, that signature Aveda scent.
