MUST GO OUTSIDE
Hike to a Waterfall
Imagine: just an easy mile through the mossy woods and suddenly, you’re standing at the base of a roaring 70-foot-tall giant, soaking up spray and reveling in the fact that two hours earlier, you were in the city. Check out our Best Northwest Hikes guide to find the perfect adventure for taking advantage of this sunny weather—within city limits, or well beyond.

MUST SEE
Outdoor Summer Cinema
Two outdoor movies will take you back in time this weekend: Revisit those debauchery-filled college days with Animal House, screening at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville, where beer and barbecue will be served (21+ only; no food fights!); Or go further back by way of a souped up DeLorean, with the more family-friendly screening of Back to the Future at Magnuson Park.

Red Hook’s Moonlight Cinema Woodinville: 8/16, 6pm. $5. 14300 NE 145th St., Woodinville, 425.483.3232; redhook.com

Pemco Outdoor Movies at Magnuson: 8/16, 7pm. $5. Magnuson Park Athletic Fields, 7400 Sand Point Way NE; epicap.com
