Pan Am Bags from the Museum of Flight
(shown left) When jet travel began in the late 1950s, Pan American World Airways gave this bag to all its first-class passengers headed to Europe. With a functional 15-inch handle, shoulder strap and cotton/nylon lining, this fun piece of luggage is a stylin’ throwback to yesteryear. $88.95, available at The Museum of Flight gift shop (9404 East Marginal Way S; 206.764.5704; museumofflight.org)

Leather Goods from Anne Sylvain

Madison Park-based lawyer and handbag designer Patricia Raskin has a thing for sports cars, which is why she named and styled Le Mans, the debut leather good collection for her line Anne Sylvain, after the classic French road race held in that town. Raskin uses luxe leather for her pieces, which range from $50 for a key fob to over $2,000 for a large bag. Her useful and elegant credit card holder ($105) and Elise wristlet ($525) are the perfect gift for the person who loves a little local luxury, and all pieces can be stamped with the recipients initials to make them even more special. Available at David Lawrence at The Bravern.
