Art Restaurant: Counter Uncorked
Art serves up a delicious spread at its second Counter Uncorked event
By Lorna Yee September 26, 2009
Last Tuesday, Art restaurant in the Four Seasons hotel downtown hosted its second Counter Uncorked event, an evening designed to showcase the kitchen’s talent. For two hours, food writers and bloggers sipped wine, mingled, and helped themselves to the generous spread. Chef Kerry Sear and his team outdid themselves with offerings like lumpia-wrapped king crab, raw oysters, roast venison skewers, gnocchi with sage butter and pork belly, blackened ahi with wasabi foam, five-hour boar back ribs, an incredible cheese and cracker spread, and—my favorite of the evening—concord grape sorbet with marscapone tapioca pudding.
