I just boarded the BoltBus for my 24-hour media road trip to Vancouver, courtesy of Tourism Vancouver. On tap for this whirlwind tour is a local beer flight tasting at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (I’ve never been and am told my usual footwear choices will not be acceptable for that trek), dinner atop Grouse Mountain (can I wear heels there?), a sneak peek of the upcoming, 17-day Dine Out Vancouver Festival 2015 and some super secret activities that even I’m not privy to. What I do know is that those classified events involve the great outdoors and some of Vancouver’s cultural experiences. Stay tuned.

It’s a glorious day outside in Seattle and the weather is supposed to be just as fine in Canada. If you want to follow my travel adventures in Vancouver, connect with me on Twitter @lmango, or check back right here for blog updates.

Now, for the eighth time today, I’m going to check my handbag to make sure I have my passport.
