If you’ve ever wanted to watch music-playing humans teathered (legally) to the top of the Space Needle, now is your chance. KEXP and Sub Pop, the local record label with 20-plus years under its belt, have partnered for a Silver Jubilee broadcast that will feature the members of the Seattle band Mudhoney rocking out in a sky-high fashion atop the Needle.

At 5 p.m. today, if you’re near the Space Needle, look up. If not, go to kexp.org for a live feed of the event.

The broadcast festivities have already started. Here is the schedule:

04:00pm: Interview with Bruce Pavitt
05:00pm: Mudhoney live performance
