MUST SEE
Chronicle
You really can’t pass up the opportunity to see the Space Needle’s latest cinematic cameo in this sci-fi thriller about three teenagers who mysteriously acquire supernatural powers. From emerging director Josh Trank, the movie improves upon the “first person shooter” method (see: Blair Witch Project) and captures believable, charming teenage chatter. However, don’t go expecting a noble Marvel superhero jaunt, Chronicle is ultimately a darkly compelling story that about the ripple effects of bullying.
Rated PG-13. Now playing at several local movie theaters. Check theaters for times and prices.

MUST TASTE
Pulled-Pork Pizza
The Flying Squirrel’s pulled-pork pizza is piled high with tender braised pork hunks, sprinkled with fresh cilantro and Cotija cheese, a few ribbons of red onion and then, right before it comes to the table, fresh lime juice for a little lift. It’s the sort of pizza that purists scoff at, roll their eyes about, refuse to order. And then they taste it. The chewy crust, the tender meat, the perfect blend of flavors—lasagna wishes it tasted this good.
Dinner nightly. Multiple locations, including Seward Park, 4920 S Genesee St.; 206.721.7620; flyingsquirrelpizza.com.
