For those looking to plan a cozy winter getaway to the coast, Seabrook, Washington is transforming into a holiday destination. The beach town is hosting a packed schedule of festive events including a parade with Santa, free concerts, gift exchanges, holiday crafting and more. The lineup of activities is bursting with fun and good cheer for guests of all ages.

On Saturday, December 16th and 23rd, Seabrook will host the Surfin’ Santa & Holiday Lights Parade, a new holiday event. Wearing his best beach attire, Santa will lead the colorful Holiday Lights Parade. Another beach-themed seasonal activity is the Glass Float Find. Each day, Seabrook will be hiding limited-edition glass floats throughout the town, trails, parks and beach. Finders keepers!

Seabrook’s main event center, Town Hall, will host Breakfast with Santa on December 10th and 17th where adults and little ones can enjoy delicious food, ornament painting, and drawing/letter writing with Santa. From December 18th through December 23rd, pottery shop Imagine That! will turn into Santa’s Workshop, where guests can craft, paint and wrap special handmade gifts.

For the grownups, the White Elephant Gift Exchange on December 22nd makes for festive fun as participants anonymously exchange wacky gifts and enjoy holiday bites and beverages. The entertainment continues the following night with a free Holiday Concert at Town Hall featuring the vocal talents of Ericka & Mattaniah Corban singing holiday favorites as well as some originals. Each year Seabrook hosts the Candlelit Service, a non-denominational spiritual celebration on Sunday, December 24th at Town Hall.

Those seeking a quintessential Washington coast weekend can partake in a Razor Clam Dig on Sunday, December 31. Purchase a license then head to Buck’s Bikes for all the tools to get out on the sand and find those clams! The festive activities will wrap up at the family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration with an early cider toast, photo booth and midnight champagne toast.
