Seattle Magazine’s inaugural BREW Seattle next Thursday in Pioneer Square is going to be an epic suds sip-a-thon, featuring 22 of the top Seattle-based breweries pouring more than 50 of their finest.
But what’s an ultimate tasting event without something to eat?
Local restaurants will offer savory and sweet snacks throughout the event, including a few bites not offered anywhere else.
Trophy Cupcakes recently teased on Twitter: “We will feature an exclusive cupcake not available elsewhere.”
Can’t wait to taste what they bake up.
And while we’re eating dessert first: Bluebird, the adorable ice cream shop that also serves beer, will be serving Black Cherry Forest Porter Beer Floats.
On the savory side, we’re looking forward to sinking our chompers into the pulled pork sliders from Pinky’s BBQ and trying the tacos from the food truck sensation, El Camion, the mobile kitchen so beloved it opened a brick-and-mortar across from Ballard High School to accommodate its legions of loyal fans.
Chopstix, known for its quick, satisfying meals on wheels, will also be in attendance because, you know, how well beer goes with Asian food. OK, beer goes with every kind of cuisine.
Primo pub grub will be provided by the stellar kitchen crews at Hopvine and Latona, as well as Naked City Brewery Taphouse.
And did we mention? There will be cupcakes and beer floats!
Sounds mighty tasty all around, right?
