The Seattle Wine and Food Experience (you may have heard about it) is just about a week away, and we are getting excited.

One of the things we’re getting especially excited for are the delectable food and drink pairings planned for the three unique events.

Lauren Madeja, Seattle magazine’s director of marketing and events, was on King 5’s New Day Northwest to preview a few of these pairings on King 5’s New Day Northwest, and see the full list of pairings shown in the segment below.

“It started as an event to really showcase all the amazing local chefs, wine producers and food purveyors that we have here in the Pacific northwest,” said Madeja. It started as a one-day event and people just really loved it, loved the concept. IT has grown and evolved over the last 10 years to become this huge three-day food and wine festival with an entire weekend to taste and sip.”
