!–paging_filter–pNeighborhood clinics from Virginia Mason to Swedish have become a common sight around Seattle, providing easy access for many residents for basic health care needs—now Group Health is getting in on the act but with a twist: Partnering with Bartell Drugs, the medical group is launching CareClinic: Group Health at Bartell Drugs, putting its clinics inside Bartell Drug stores, first in Ballard, Crossroads Bellevue, and University Village, beginning in January./p
pGroup Health and Bartells are the latest companies that are redefining health care convenience; we’ve previously talked about pioneering company a href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com/article/workplace-health“Vera Whole Health/a, which brings health care clinics to your workplace doorstep, and a href=”http://\/\/seattlemag.com/article/virtual-house-calls“CareSimple/a, which connects doctors and nurse practitioners with patients over phone or webcam at any time of day. The Group Health clinics will be staffed by advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNP), and will serve patients who aren’t Group Health members in addition to members./p
