WHY WE LOVE HER STYLE: Shiramizu, the owner of Momo boutique in the International District, has a very short style icon: her 7-year-old niece. So she often looks to girlhood’s flowy skirts and comfortable fabrics to pull together her easygoing style. “My style is a mix of Tinkerbell and Morticia from The Addams Family,” the I.D. maven says. “I like to take a cue from that childlike spunk, but pull it back for adult sophistication.” Layered tights, short tunics and chunky scarves satisfy her inner kid, and her grownup side is drawn to subtle European designers such as Cop-Copine and Deca-Paris. Sporting body-conscious, no-fuss garments that travel well for trips to Japan, Shiramizu adds visual interest with locally made long earrings or chunky necklaces to accent her favorite gray and black palette.
