Editor's Note: We're Taking a Break

No June issue, but we'll be back.

Thank you.

To the subscribers, the advertisers, the newsstand impulse purchasers and waiting room readers...back when we were allowed in waiting rooms. However you’ve found yourself reading Seattle magazine, whether in print or online, thank you so much for supporting local media. You're the reason we're here, passionate about sharing Seattle's who, what, when, where, why and how. We're storytellers, and your stories matter.

Sadly, Seattle magazine won’t be publishing a June issue, which would have needed to be written, photographed and sent to the printer in late April. None of that was possible under our current shelter-in-place model. In fact, Seattle magazine’s staff has been furloughed while we figure out how and when to make our next issue. Subscribers, don’t worry: You’ll receive the 12 total issues of the magazine you’ve paid for.

We can’t wait to get back to doing what we love: Sharing the stories that define Seattle as the resilient, vibrant city that has our heart. Until then, please keep supporting small businesses—particularly restaurants, artists and local media!—and check in soon for what’s next.
