An Australian bridal brand is convinced that love is alive and well in the Pacific Northwest.
Grace Loves Lace has made its Pacific Northwest debut with a showroom in Ballard.
Grace Loves Lace’s new showroom is the company’s sixth to open in America and the 11th to open internationally. Shoppers can visit the showroom by appointment only, but virtual appointments are available as well.
In the past 12 months, Grace Loves Lace has reported a 100% increase in sales, 48% of which came from the United States. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, sales increased 70%.
“It has always been on the cards for us to have a permanent space in Seattle,” says Megan Ziems, founder and creative director of Grace Loves Lace.
The space will replicate the brand’s original showroom in Sydney, Australia, “with a Seattle twist,” Ziems says, that will feature linen sofas, rustic tables, and greenery.
Washington Gov. Jay Inslee placed restrictions on weddings in July due to the coronavirus pandemic, limiting the number of guests to 20% of the indoor occupancy or 30 people, whichever is less.
The showroom, located at 5201 Ballard Ave N.W., Suite A, opened for appointments on August 20.
