Mariners Sriracha Night is Back!
Sriracha pizza and Sriracha-lada top our list of spicy delights
By Seattle Mag May 18, 2015
What do you love more? Your sweet Mariners or spicy Sriracha?
Don’t answer that. Just enjoy both at one of the best pairing events of the year.
On May 28, the Mariners will take on the Cleveland Indians for this year’s Sriracha Night at Safeco Field. For $30, you get a Main Level seat, a voucher for a menu item made with the spicy red chili sauce, and a cool Sriracha T-shirt. Deadline to purchase tickets for the 7:10 p.m. game is noon on May 27.
Now, the important information: What will be on this year’s Centerplate menu? You can expect Mariners hot dogs topped with Sriracha-infused cream cheese, pizza by the slice with a Sriracha-based tomato sauce, deep-fried macaroni and cheese balls with a side of Sriracha ranch dipping sauce, garlic fries tossed with Sriracha, and dirty tater tots in a Sriracha bath.
If you prefer your Sriracha with a straw, opt for the Sriracha-spiked soft-serve ice cream shake or the ultimate: a Sriracha-lada with Cazadores Blanco, fresh lime juice, Sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, Sriracha salt rim and a Corona beer float.
Now that’s a great combination.
