Featuring hundreds of music videos (think David Bowie, Madonna, The White Stripes, Kanye West, Radiohead, Björk), plus “artifacts” from iconic videos (including A-ha’s “Take on Me” and OK Go’s “This Too Shall Pass”), Spectacle makes clear that the genre has moved well beyond eye candy for bored teens. 5/17–1/4/2015.
