It’s been a long time since a visit to the airport has seemed more like a luxury than a chore. Terminal Getaway Spa (7 a.m.–9:30 p.m.; Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 17801 International Blvd.; 206.787.5388; terminalgetawayspa.com), arriving at Sea-Tac airport this summer, aims to change that when it opens on Concourse A. The Chicago-based chain’s first foray on the West Coast will be an express-service spa (drop-ins welcome, appointments available); a full-service spa is slated to open later on Concourse C. In a hurry? A 10-minute nail polish change ($12) is one of the many services offered to express customers. Come fall, you may find yourself wishing for a flight delay so you can take advantage of a 90-minute full-body deep tissue massage ($195). Flights come and go, but a good manicure is at the airport waiting for you—even if your luggage is not.
