To welcome a fun-loving crowd that’s both young and young at heart, Moxy Seattle Downtown (South Lake Union, 1016 Republican St.; 206.708.8200; marriott.com), which opened its doors in February, takes hospitality to new heights with something you don’t see in many hotel lobbies: a teeter-totter.
The property’s Seattle- and Portland-based interior design team The Society placed this invitation to play—created from reclaimed lumber by Seattle custom woodworkers Urban Reclamations—smack-dab in the middle the lobby for guests to enjoy.
